UPCOMING EVENTS
Concert featuring the Akropolis Reed Quintet and Composer Harriet Steinke – Sunday, June 1 @ 4 p.m.
The Akropolis Reed Quintet invites you to the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit to celebrate their 2025 GRAMMY® Award featuring selections from their national spring tour, along with the world premiere of “Mass” by Harriet Steinke. Stay afterward for a meet-and-mingle with Akropolis. This is a free concert and all ages welcome!
Novena is a special celebration that includes nine days of prayer and daily Mass. Each day of prayer has a different theme associated with an ethnic group important to Detroit and our surrounding communities. On the tenth day, we commemorate the Feast of Ste. Anne. Novena is a wonderful opportunity to come together in prayer. During Novena, we gather to ask Ste. Anne to pray for our intentions, the intentions of our families, our city, our Archdiocese, and our world. The tradition of this joyful event dates back more than 100 years. If you have not been before, you are in for a unique, spiritual experience. Mass each day is also livestreamed for those who are not able to join us in person.
