Ste. Anne + The Catholic Initiative

HONORING OUR HISTORY…

For over three centuries, Ste. Anne Basilica has been more than just a church—it has been our spiritual home. Founded in 1701, it remains the heart of our faith community, where generations have come together in prayer, celebration, and service. As we continue the legacy built by those who came before us, our parish family fills these sacred walls with devotion, tradition, and resilience. With 675 parish families and thousands of visitors each year, Ste. Anne is not just a place of worship—it is a place where our faith is lived and shared.

… AND SECURING OUR FUTURE

As part of a groundbreaking new model, supported by the Vatican, Ste. Anne Basilica now has the resources needed to undergo a ~3-year restoration of the Basilica and the campus, in partnership with the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s Catholic Initiative. We will preserve the historic beauty of Ste Anne, while simultaneously ensuring its long-term sustainability. Beyond the restoration, this transformation will also strengthen Ste. Anne’s role as a center of faith, community, and service in Detroit. Through this partnership, we are committed to ensuring the Basilica remains a beacon of hope for generations to come.
