Young Adults

Young Adult Ministries at Ste. Anne and Most Holy Trinity

The Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit and our sister parish, Most Holy Trinity, together offer many ways for adults aged 18-35 to get involved, make new friends, explore their faith and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Contact Daniel Magareno for more information or if you simply want to talk about your faith, your life or anything at all. He can be reached at 313-965-4450 or at daniel.magareno@steannedetroit.org.

Corazon Puro
This national young adult group was formed in New York and we are pleased to offer it in Detroit. The group explores St. John Paul II’s teachings on love and explores questions like Who is God and who am I? What does it mean to be a humble person in Christ? What is authentic love?

We meet on the last Sunday of every month. All of our programs are in English. We also hold other fellowship events (lately as allowed under public health guidelines) such as bonfires and dinners.

You never need a reservation to attend and everything is free. Our Facebook page (under the name Cor Ignis Detroit) is here

Jornadas
Jornadas is a young adult group that works to develop leaders; strengthen the faith of its members; serve Christ, His Church and His people; form disciples of young men and women; and establish strong friendships among its members.

Jornadas typically holds a retreat in the summer where new members can explore their faith and be welcomed into the group. After experiencing the summer retreat, new members can begin to attend weekly Jornadas meetings.

Jornandas operates year-round as an active parish group that organizes service projects, helps with Mass, and teaches the faith to others.
